I wanted to talk about how Gods been moving in my life and really testify about how AWESOME our God is. The few weeks I’ve been a lot more curious about what really is in the word. I’ve always read my Bible, but I wanted to study it and find answers to my questions. So I started in Genesis, it just seemed right because I was having a late night talk with Clara and we were thinking about all these random things about Noah and the Ark and we kept coming up with more questions. I went to Genesis 1 and was going verde by verse digging up all kinds of questions and I never realized how much information there actually is when you don’t just look at it surface level. It’s been so amazing to have a growing desire to dig in and learn more about the Word.

I’ve also been working with the Lord a lot about expressing my thoughts and emotions. I have been known to keep everything inside because it’s easier that way, then having to say what is actually wrong. But through these first three weeks God has shown me how relieving it is to write everything down and being able to be raw with the Lord. Even though the Lord knows all our thoughts he still wants us to tell him about everything. Being able to grow in that way has lightened my heart so much, and I don’t feel burdened with all my emotions.

My team has been in Kampongthom for three weeks now!! I’ve grown so much closer to all these kids, I love them so much!! There is nothing to having a bunch of kids run up to you everyday and getting tackled by hugs. These kids have taught me so much about the love of the Father and being completely overjoyed about the simplest things.

Also features the alphabet train my team painted!! One side is in English and the other is in Khmer!

My prayer requests for this week would be to keep my focus on the Lord, continue growing in unity with my team, open the hearts of the community, and to open my eyes to anything I may be missing.
