Hey everyone!! It’s time for a Cambodia blog  recap!! First I want to go over all the amazing ministry opportunities that I encountered while being in Kampong Thom.

The Teachers!!! I had the privilege to work along side each week. Every week we would switch teachers and had the opportunity to speak life into them while the kids were doing activities. I had many different encounters where I brought my Bible to the school and got to read to teacher Kayla about what I had read that morning and got to go through my notes and thoughts with her, as well as hearing about her background in the church when she lived in South Africa. Then with Teacher Nelvin I had the opportunity to dig deeper into what I was reading and got to hear his thoughts and perspectives! With the teachers my team got to host a worship night on the roof of the newly built school, it was such an amazing bonding experience to really get to the know the teachers better outside the classroom.

While in ministry we got to paint!! Good seed had just built a new school and they wanted us to paint it!! What an amazing privilege, we got to paint an alphabet train in both English and their native language Khmer. We got to paint numbers, fruits, and vegetables on the outside of the bathrooms. Then we got to draw and paint flower vein borders in each classroom! It was such a great feeling to take a couple hours of our day and paint and serve the school in something that will always be there. The principal of school told us when we finished painting at 10 pm the night before we left that everytime she looks at the wall she’ll remember us. I tested up I really I did, I’m going to miss Mara so much. While being in Kampong Thom I also had the chance to met people from the U.S.!! I met two people from the states. The first was one Tara, she is also doing ministry work in a school in Cambodia, but she will be there for a year!! Then I had met Sebastian, he had came from Vietnam and was biking from there all the way to Bangkok thailand!! Overall the ministry experiences were top teir!

Being in Cambodia was truly life changing and the such a blessing. I came into Cambodia barely knowing it was country and left completely fallen in love with it.

Prayer Request!!

To allow the Lord to grow in my life and open my eyes to new opportunities and to be bold in every step!

Alsoooo. I am still on my fundraising journey!!! I need to be at 80% as soon as possible!! I’m currently at 64%! The Lord works in an amazing ways!!! I’m so blessed to be on this journey and want to continue being here!! Thank you all y’all so much! I have so much love for everyone!
