Hey y’all!! Week one of training camp just ended and guys God is so good!! This week God showed me what it’s like to be in Godly community that truly loves each other. We haven’t known each other for long but we’re already a family. Saturday night we did baptisms and seeing people that I’ve grown to love already fully giving themselves to our Lord, was so emotional and my heart was so filled with joy. God has opened my heart so much already and has released things that I didn’t even realize I was holding on to. This week I would continually flip to Psalm 28:7, “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trust in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for Joy, and with my song I praise him”.  I felt that God kept highlighting this verse to me because this journey I started is going to be hard but he is my strength and sometimes I won’t feel filled with happiness but when I praise him my heart leaps with Joy. This verse is a comfort and showing that no matter what is to come God is always with me. I am so thankful for what God has shown me and the freedom he has given. I’m ready to see what more he has in store for me.
